I had it towed to the honda dealer and they said that extended warranty. most of the time the little rubber vent grommet gets clogged. I hope this fixes your problem. my 2014 honda civic had the cvt fill plug pop out. the honda dealer i purchased my civic from never heard of it, they did replace it with a new cap (retail $ 12.00) and this fixed. if you look down into your honda engine and see the inside of your automatic transmission, don't panic. just to realize that my transmission fill plug was popped out and laying on top on the transmission. The cvt transmission vent is plugged/ blocked. The area was covered in some oil and looked like it attracted. to fix the issue, simply remove the vent cap, clean it out with compressed air, and install with the arrow in the same direction. Newer honda civic with cvt. when i had the trans serviced, i asked them to look at the pressure cap because of research seems to be the cause.
